Markos Moulitsas (the shady character shown above) and Michelle Malkin (the hot babe who appears below) have the same initials and in fact in many other superficial respects they are similar. They are fierce political partisans who adopt a slash-and-burn approach to their adversaries, and the main way they disseminate their views is through their wildly popular blogs, the Daily Kos and Michelle Malkin. Malkin has written several books and has a syndicated newspaper column; Moulitsas recently started a regular column at Newsweek magazine.

The main superficial difference between them is that Malkin is on the right wing of politics and Moulitsas is on the left. You know the left — they’re the ones who are supposedly associated with tolerance, nuance, respect and understanding. They’d rather talk than fight. You know the drill.
So it was perhaps surprising to see a contributor to the Daily Kos call for Michelle’s life to be ended, and to do it under a photograph that makes the attractive Ms. Malkin look like an ape.
Maybe even more surprising — given the left’s apparent belief that it vastly exceeds the right in scholarship and intelligence — was the fact that the basis for the contributor’s call was totally false. The contributor, named “Gramarye,” claimed that Malkin herself had written on her blog, after reading that North Korea’s dictator had endorsed Barack Obama: “Take me now, Lord. My life as a blogger is complete.”
In fact, Malkin never wrote any such thing. The statement was published by a contributor to her blog, named “See-Dubya.” So in other words, not only is the Daily Kos harboring a cyber terrorist who, in the name of “liberalism” is calling for the end of a human life, but it is harboring the kind of terrorist who can’t even get the identify of the target right.
But perhaps the most surprising fact of all is that although Gramarye’s post has drawn 89 comments in the first 24 hours after being published, (a) not one of them noticed the factual inaccuracy and (b) many defended the terrorism. It’s the new definition of erudite liberalism, I guess.
The second commenter said that although it wasn’t “classy” to call for her demise, the main point was that “the Lord doesn’t want Malkin anyway.” The third commenter attacked the second, saying the world was full of classless people so it was a moot point. The seventh commenter proved how classy he was by criticizing the terrorist statement stating: “What the f**k is wrong with you?” He used the real four-letter word. The eighth commenter also questioned the use of terrorism, but found it necessary to add that Malkin was a “scrofulous bag of pus.” Soon after that a commenter aggressively defended the terrorism, stating:
HR’s ablaze! Puhleaze - it’s high past time that people admitted what everyone thinks anyway. And besides - didn’t Malkin say this in her own words? Why are people here defending such a heinous wench? I can assure you all that if she were in your shoes she most certainly would NOT be doing the same.
Actually, no, she didn’t say this — in her words or anyone else’s.
Here we see the left in perfect microcosm. It claims to favor love and understanding, it condemns George Bush for allegedly acting otherwise in the conduct of U.S. foreign policy. But it then turns around and treats the right in exactly the same way it claims Bush is treating places like Iraq.
It’s that kind of shameless hypocrisy, betraying that the real goal of the left is just to get power, not to serve any ideals, that has resulted in the total collapse of the leftist agenda in the the United States today.
If, by the way, you search for an example from Malkin’s blog where she wished physical harm upon a member of the Daily Kos organization, you’ll be hard-pressed to find one.
